Another book I wanted to rate is titled “Amy Carmichael Rescuer of Precious Gems”. I would like to rate this book a 5 out of 5 because the authors Janet and Geoff Benge did a phenomenal job of writing this book. This book is in a series about different Christians throughout history.

I love this book because it is extremely descriptive. For example, on the page before the Table of Contents, there is a map labeling generally where Carmichael did her work for the Lord, and then there is a map that is more specific. Also, on the cover of the map is Carmichael was working for God. Lastly, I love this book because it describes what happens to Amy Carmichael when she was a child which makes it easier to relate to. I would recommend this book for kids ages 10-12. If you read this book, I would love to know what you think of it. Let me know in the comment box below.
