A book I wanted to rate is called “Jim Elliot One Great Purpose”. (This book is in the same series as “Amy Carmichael Rescuer of Precious Gems”. The series is called Christian Heroes: Then and Now). In my opinion, this book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5.

I think that this book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5, because Janet and Geoff Benge did a great job of illustrating the sacrifices that Jim Elliot and the other missionaries with him made for the work of the Lord. I think one thing that Janet and Geoff Benge could have done better is added more detail about Jim Elliot when he was a little kid. Over all, Janet and Geoff Benge did an excellent job writing“Jim Elliot One Great Purpose”.

I think that this book is appropriate for kids ages 11-13 because of some of the events in the book. Also, on the page after the table of contents there is a map detailing where Jim Elliot and the other missionaries with him did missionary work. I hope that you enjoy Jim Elliot One Great Purpose.
