Consecration Part 1:

Hello Reader,

In our family devotions this week, my dad introduced the topic of consecration. Consecration means holy, and set apart. My dad mentioned Samson, because Samson was a Nazarite unto God. Samson couldn’t drink wine, and he had to grow his hair. My dad began telling us that everyone wants to have a purpose in life, but Samson had an advantage. Samson already knew that his purpose in life was to destroy the Philistines.

Although Samson knew what his purpose in life was he didn’t want to do it. At the end of Samson’s life, though he fulfilled his purpose. We are spiritual Nazarites unto God, this means that we should act in holy manners and do holy things. When we do this we please God.
