Romans 12:2 states “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” God renews our minds through us. Having a renewed mind means that our mind is renewed.

Having a renewed mind is kind of like building a house. You have to first break down your “house” to build a new one. When renewing your mind God works through you to renew your mind. Think of it as someone building a house by themselves. By renewing the mind of God you prove his will.
