Dear Reader,

If you could choose would you rather go to a funeral or party? As a human, I’m sure that you would rather go to a party. Ecclesiastes 7:2 reads “It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men, and the living will lay it to his heart.” (KJV)

Solomon said this, because funerals and not just funerals. Tombstones, and what’s engraved on them make us think about the deeper questions in life. Questions like what is my purpose? What is my real meaning in life? Those questions take a lot of prayer and thought to answer. Life can be so rushed, but taking time to seek God is a wonderful thing.
